Compassionate, evidence-based support designed to help your child bloom.

Our Services

At A Place to Bloom Behavior, services are individualized, evidence-based, and grounded in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Each program is developed following comprehensive assessment and ongoing data analysis to ensure meaningful and measurable progress.

We specialize in early intervention services for young children and collaborative support for families.

  • Every child’s program begins with a thorough assessment process.

    This may include:

    • Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA)

    • Skills-based assessment

    • Developmental evaluation of communication, social, and adaptive skills

    • Caregiver interview and history review

    • Direct observation across relevant settings

Assessment findings are used to design an individualized treatment plan tailored to the child’s strengths, needs, and developmental level.

  • Therapy programs are structured to promote skill acquisition and reduce behaviors that interfere with learning or daily functioning.

    Programs may target:

    • Functional communication skills

    • Social engagement

    • Play skills

    • Emotional regulation

    • Adaptive living skills

    • Early academic readiness

    • Reduction of maladaptive behaviors

Intervention strategies are data-driven and continuously monitored to ensure progress.

  • For children exhibiting challenging behaviors, a Functional Behavior Assessment is conducted to identify:

    • The environmental variables influencing behavior

    • The function or purpose the behavior serves

    • Patterns across settings

Based on assessment results, a Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) is developed to teach appropriate replacement behaviors and reduce problem behavior safely and effectively.

  • Caregiver involvement is essential for long-term success.

    Parent training focuses on:

    • Understanding behavior functions

    • Implementing behavior strategies consistently

    • Supporting communication development

    • Generalizing skills across settings

    • Reducing caregiver stress through practical tools

Sessions are collaborative, supportive, and individualized to family needs.

  • When appropriate, we collaborate with:

    • Teachers

    • School teams

    • Other healthcare professionals

    • Speech and occupational therapists

Collaboration ensures consistency across environments and promotes generalization of skills.

  • All services are provided by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in accordance with:

    • BACB ethical guidelines

    • Evidence-based ABA methodology

    • Ongoing data collection and analysis

    • Individualized treatment planning

Programs are reviewed and adjusted regularly to ensure effectiveness and clinical integrity.

  • Services may be provided in:

    • Home-based settings

    • School-based settings

    • Community settings

    • Telehealth (when clinically appropriate)

Service recommendations are based on assessment results and individual needs.

Our Process

Initial Consultation

We begin with a consultation to learn more about your child’s needs, concerns, and goals. During this conversation, we review developmental history, current challenges, and determine whether services are an appropriate fit.

This step allows families to ask questions and understand what to expect before moving forward.

Comprehensive Assessment

If services are recommended, a comprehensive assessment is conducted. This may include:

  • Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA)

  • Skills-based assessment

  • Caregiver interviews

  • Direct observation

Assessment findings guide the development of an individualized treatment plan tailored to your child’s strengths and areas of need.

Individualized Treatment Planning & Implementation

Based on assessment results, a structured treatment plan is created outlining measurable goals and evidence-based intervention strategies.

Services are then implemented in the recommended setting (home, school, community, or telehealth when appropriate). Progress is tracked through ongoing data collection and analysis to ensure meaningful outcomes.

Ongoing Collaboration & Progress Review

We believe progress is most effective when families are actively involved.

Throughout services, we:

  • Review data regularly

  • Adjust goals as needed

  • Provide parent coaching and support

  • Collaborate with other professionals when appropriate

Treatment plans are continuously updated to reflect your child’s growth and evolving needs.
